The Certified Collibra Expert I designation is a great way to quickly demonstrate your data governance and data stewardship aptitude. You can earn this certification by taking and passing the Certified Collibra Expert I exam.

If you are beginning your Data Governance journey, the Certified Collibra Expert I designation is a great way to establish a common foundation of skills and knowledge related to data governance best practices. Certified Collibra Expert I designation provides you with the foundational knowledge you will need to make the most of your data governance experience.

Once you enroll in the Exam Course you have 30 days to complete the exam.You have 3 attempts at successfully completing the exam with the 30-day timeframe. If you are unsuccessful in passing the exam after the 3rd attempt, you must wait 30 days to repeat the course. There are no extensions and submitted or saved data is removed from the system.  We recommend reviewing and completing the following courses and tutorials prior to taking the Steward Certification Exam.

Successful Certified candidates will be able to:

  • enter, improve and approve, and publish assets, relations, and attributes
  • write good definitions
  • add comments and upload attachments
  • import from and export to spreadsheet or CSV
  • search and navigate content
  • execute workflow tasks
  • determine responsibility through a workflow

This certification is open to all candidates and is the foundational requirement for all Collibra Certifications.

Time Requirement

Once enrolled, applicants have 30 days to successfully complete the exam and are granted five attempts. If the applicant is unsuccessful after five attempts they must wait 30 days before they can re-enroll in the exam course. There are no extensions or exceptions.  All certifications expire 2 years after issuance.

You may not copy, share, distribute, publish, display, download or modify the exam, the answers to the exam questions, or any portions thereof. Failure to observe the following restrictions will result in your blockage from Collibra University and possible legal action.
